I am going on my 10th year as an Oncology Nurse and my entire nursing career has been taking care of people with cancer. The last 6-7 years, I have primarily worked with hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplant patients, and I am currently a nurse clinician for Dr. Saulius Girnius, a hematologist who specializes in Multiple Myeloma. I have watched an incredible transformation in the way we fight Multiple Myeloma over the last 10 years. I have watched drugs be rushed approved by the FDA, and I have witnessed the lives of my patients and their families change because of these new therapies. I am incredibly passionate about research and I am so excited to have this opportunity to raise money for MMRF and to be a part of the Road to Victories team. This is my official cycling event and I am really looking forward to the ride in September!
