DARIEN -A Darien woman will embark on a bike ride to raise money for cancer.
Annie Burleigh was diagnosed two years ago with multiple myeloma, the third most common blood cancer in America. She underwent a stem cell transplant and is now in remission.
Burleigh and her husband have been avid bike riders for many years. She says she wasn’t going to let anything prevent her from getting back on her bike.
